Felt Painting
This technique explores the use of wool fibres as a painting medium.
Using pre felted wool as your canvas you will then explore the process of applying merino wool and silk as surface decoration to create an image of your choice. Your image can be abstract or figurative, books will be available for inspiration.
This is a fun and easy way of working with fibres.
 
Nuno Felt

The name "nuno" is derived from the Japanese word meaning cloth. This technique combines wool and lightweight fabrics to create a lightweight textile, Nuno felt is such a versatile medium and can be used to create scarves, hats and clothing.

During the workshop you will explore this fascinating process and create your own nuno felt piiece.

 

3D Felt

Three dimensional feltmaking gives you a tool to create your own unique 3D projects,

During the workshop you will learn how to make a tenplate and to create a 3D form of your choice.
