Millinery Workshops

Millinery Workshops are organised throughout the year and can be tailored to suit the individual or group.The focus of the workshop is to learn new skills in a creative and relaxing environment. I will give you a personal insight into how I work and share my skills and specialised techniques with you. The workshop venue is my beautiful home located in the charming rural village of Alan with views of the Pyrenees.

Come for a weekend retreat or the intensive 5 day workshop and explore a beautiful part of France. The workshops have a maximum of five students to ensure time for personal tuition.

Freeform Sinamay Advanced Techniques Learn the new crown and brim method to create traditional style hats in a variety of designs without hat blocks.	Freeform Parasisal Straw Techniques Learn the skills and techniques to create sculptural hats and headpieces without the need for hat blocks.	Freeform Sinamay Techniques Learn how to create free formed sculptural hats without the use of hat blocks. Suitable for all skill levels. Free Form Sculpting in Fur Felt Learn how to freeform block and manipulate this luxury velour felt to create unique and individual designs. All you will need is a dome crown.	Feather Workshop Learn how to dye, cut, shape and paint feathers. Design and create beautiful feather adornments for your hats. Create a hat to adorn.	Free Form Parasisal Techniques This workshop explores free form techniques in parisisal straw including, blocking, manipulating and free forming hats without the use of hat blocks. 5 Day Intensive Workshops Blocking in sinamay and parisisal straw, free form sculpting. Working with feathers. Applique and trims. There will be time dedicated to personal projects.
